Areias da Prainha

Areias da Prainha is a beautiful example of Azorean rural tourism – classic island-architecture in a stunning coastal setting.

Located on the north coast of Pico, this original Pico-basalt house has been sensitively renovated to retain its original character – combining functional modern facilities with traditional Azorean-style and elegant antique furnishings.

The house is divided into the three-bedroom Casa Manuel and one-bedroom Casa Gracia apartment. Casa Manuel is spacious house, with sea views and a sun terrace for alfresco breakfast and evenings. The house has one en-suite double rooms, and two twin rooms (with a shared bathroom), a large living room and fully equipped kitchen. Casa Gracia is more-cosy, with a double en-suite bedroom, open plan living room/kitchen, and a small seaview terrace.
