Located in the delightful village of Faja Grande at Europe’s westernmost point, the Argonauta is surrounded by a paradise of natural beauty and tranquil isolation.

This delightful B&B has a bohemian and homely feel, reflecting the welcoming personality of owner Stefano – with original floral frescos from the 1930’s on the walls and woodwork from a vessel shipwrecked off Flores’ western reefs.

There are five en-suite double rooms available, including two suites in the eaves of the house, and the location is wonderful: just a short walk from harbour and Flores’ best fish restaurants where you can enjoy the magnificent Atlantic sunsets each evening. And being halfway along the west coast, it’s an ideal base from which to explore the island’s famous coastal walking trails.
