Sitting on the calm shores of the Baia Praia da Vitoria, the Atlantida Mar Hotel has one of the best ocean views on Terceira.

There are twenty-eight spacious, modern rooms in total: double rooms come with either a mountain view or a sea view balcony, junior suites all have sea view balconies, double/twin beds and a kitchenette, and the large duplex apartments are spread over two floors with a twin/double bedroom, a large kitchenette, a living room which can be converted into a second bedroom, and a sea view balcony. All rooms are air-conditioned and all bathrooms have a bathtub with a shower.

There’s free Wi-fi throughout, a sauna, a well-equipped gym, and an outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace overlooking the Atlantic ocean.

During the day, Praia’s an excellent jumping-off point from which to explore the island, either by car or with our resident guides, and the peaceful waters of the bay are a popular spot for kayaking and stand up paddleboarding. In the evenings, Praia da Vitoria’s waterfront restaurants serve some of the best seasonal Azorean cuisine on the island: restaurants like O Pescador, La Barca and Sabores do Chef and all within easy walking distance.
