Casa Caseiro is a one bedroom, traditional-style cottage in the south coast town of Livramento.

This one-bedroom casa is ideal for couples looking to explore the island of Sao Miguel. The décor is typically-Azorean: comfortable and uncluttered, with a spacious living room and a well-equipped kitchen leading to the shared garden. The double bedroom is comfortable and homely, and there’s a mezzanine where two single beds can be added if you’re travelling as a family of four.

Casa Caseiro sits within the grounds of one of our favourite B&Bs – Quinta Sao Caetano – which has been in Luis and Maria Pimentel’s family since 1875. It’s an ideal location if you enjoy the sea – the beaches at Praia Populo and Praia das Milicias are just ten minutes’ walk away, and ten-minutes by car brings you into the capital Ponta Delgada.
