Casa da Avo

Casa da Avo is a three bedroom house in the old spa town of Furnas.

Located in the centre of Furnas, this typical Azorean townhouse is a short walk from the 200-year-old Parque Terra Nostra botanical gardens, home to the Azores; most-famous geothermal swimming pool.  The house has three bedrooms – one twin, one single and one double – two bathrooms, a comfortable lounge, a dining room and well-equipped kitchen, and a garden and patio.

Being in the centre of the village, you’ll have many of Furnas’ best restaurants and café bars right on your doorstep. We recommend including a car during your stay, and it’ a short drive to Lagoa das Furnas and the cozido cooking holes, the geysers at Cha das Caldeira and the beach down on the south coast at Ribeira Quente.
