Furnas Lake Forest Living is located stunning volcanic Furnas valley, close to the shores of Lagoa das Furnas.

There are ten forest villas in all – each has an open-plan lounge/diner with ultra-modern furnishings, kitchennettes and bathrooms, all set within extensive private grounds with an outdoor swimming pool, snack bar and laundry. There’s also a two-bedroom cottage – the original farmhouse which has been renovated and modernised with the same Scandinavian-feel as the villas.

It’s a short, five-minute drive into the centre of Furnas where you can explore the 200 year-old Terra Nostra gardens, followed by a swim in the Azores’ most-famous geothermal swimming pool.
