Charming Blue

Charming Blue is a stylish boutique hotel on the small island of Santa Maria.

Located in downtown Vila do Porto, a keen eye has overseen the redesign of this old Azorean townhouse – preserving its key architectural features whilst bringing the building forwards into the 21^st century. With just fifteen spacious rooms, Charming Blue is the perfect base from which to explore the rural peace of Santa Maria. All the rooms are en-suite, with AC and free Wi-Fi throughout – there’s also an outdoor pool, a sun terrace, a spa and a sauna. The hotel’s Mesa d’Oito restaurant as created quite a reputation for itself over the last five years – pioneering imaginative, modern twists on more traditional Azorean Cuisine.
