Hotel Talisman

The Hotel Talisman is one Ponta Delgada’s most recognisable buildings.

The original building dates back to the 18th century, when Ponta Delgada was at the centre of the Azores’ thriving orange-export industry. The hotel has sixty air-conditioned rooms including five suites, four deluxe doubles and four family rooms, with spiral staircases and art deco touches throughout the guest lounges and restaurant. There’s also a rooftop pool and sun terrace overlooking rooftops of the capital, with the mountains of Lagoa do Fogo beyond.

Locations-wise, it’s a short walk to seafront and marina, and the city’s most-popular cafebars and restaurants are right on your doorstep.
