Mosteiros Place Apartments

The Mosteiros Place apartments are on the outskirts of the pretty seaside village of Mosteiros.

Sitting on the far-western coast of Sao Miguel, Mosteiros is famous for it’s spectacular sunsets and for the Ilhéus dos Mosteiros sea stacks: the remains of a vast coastal caldera dating back to the island’s creation. The six one-bedroom apartments have a double bed, air conditioning, a combined living room and kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, ceramic hob, and tea and coffee making facilities. Each apartment has a sea view balcony and there’s a shared swimming pool, Wi-Fi and breakfast is included in your stay.

It’s a short drive into the great crater at Sete Cidades: the largest caldera on Sao Miguel where you can walk, cycle, kayak and paddle board on the beautiful twin lakes of Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde. Ponta Ferraria is just ten minutes down the coast; famous for it’s seawater pools which are naturally heated by underwater vents from the Sete Cidades caldera, and the capital Ponta Delgada is a pleasant thirty-minute drive away.
