Santa Barbara Eco Beach Resort

The Santa Barbara Eco Beach Resort is a collection of secluded villas on the north coast of Sao Miguel, overlooking the island’s most-famous surf beach.

Compared to more traditional-style Azorean properties, the Santa Barbara Eco Beach Resort is more contemporary in design, with a selection of purpose-built one and two bedroom villas, finished with mix of local cedar, reclaimed blackwood and polished concrete. Each villas has an open-plan living area with a small kitchen, an en-suite bedroom and a private sun terrace.

Each villa includes a well-equipped kitchentte, but breakfast and evening meals are always available, served in the on-site restaurant. There’s also an outdoor pool overlooking the sea and a beach club bar, and the Sao Miguel’s popular surf school is just a short walk along the beach.
