Whales Bay Hotel Apartments

The Whales Bay Hotel Apartments are a modern self-catering apartment complex on the rural north coast of Sao Miguel.

There are fifteen fully-furnished apartments over three levels, (all serviced by a lift), with eight one-bedroom apartments (with twin beds) and seven two-bedroom apartments (great for families, with one double bedroom and one twin). Our favourites are on the top floor, with the best views out across the Atlantic

All the apartments have full-equipped kitchens, and the two-bedroom apartments have a large open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge. There’s also a shared salt-water outdoor pool, gym, sauna, laundry facilities and free wi-fi. We recommend including a hire car during your stay, to allow you to explore the beautiful landscapes of Sao Miguel, and the capital Ponta Delgada is just a fifteen-minute drive away. The popular natural seawater pools at Pocas de Sao Vicente are just a short walk away.
